Staff Solutions Australia Pty Ltd is currently looking for an experienced Accounting and Administration for our client. 

Purpose of the position is to manage and be responsible for the company’s accounting functions and maintenance of accounting records, provide administrative and secretarial support to the company.
This is flexible permanent part-time basis, approximately 28 hours per week (negotiable).
The team is small yet, very supportive environment. This position will be trained by company staff with ongoing support and supervision.

Key responsibilities of this role include but not limited to;

Day-to-day accounting and administrator functions
  • Manage the cash flow of the company
  • Check invoices, prepare payment instructions for authorizing and posting (allocation of expenses)
  • Maintain the fixed asset register 
  • General bookkeeping, preparing and maintaining various QuickBooks ledgers, monthly journals, debtor reconciliations and transactions relating to income and outgoings
  • Prepare the monthly payroll
  • Month-end management reporting 
  • Submit monthly Business Activity Statement (BAS)
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax liabilities
  • Prepare and submit individual and company income tax returns, Payroll tax and fringe benefit tax 
  • Assist with annual statutory audit process for the preparation of the annual financial statements
  • Manage all matters relating to global transfer pricing (preferable)
Support the company and assist with general office administration
  • Monitor and collate statistical and administrative data from suppliers and stakeholders
  • Assist with communication and documentation functions related to land sales, banking institutions, accounting firms and stakeholders
  • Manage and update the company weekly activity schedule
  • Manage all employment visa applications and dealings with the Immigration Department
  • Complete and lodge all company ASIC requirements
  • Manage general insurance and work safe cover
  • General administrative, secretarial and miscellaneous duties 
Desired Skills and Experiences Requirements;
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Experience of office administration 
  • Competence with Quick Books or similar software
  • Degree in accounting and CPA/ACA (preferable)
  • A strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and staff
  • Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office 
  • Attention to details and meet deadlines 
  • Supportive and attentive personality
  • Strong understandings of Australian culture and business practice
  • Respect for cultural differences and ability to develop positive relationships despite language and cultural barriers
