We are working with a Sydney based  company have an immediate requirement for a Management Accountant to assist the company reporting and timely reporting of business information to management & key stakeholders.

They are experiencing a period of sustained growth and it is expected that there will be further positions at the end of the contract. 

Main tasks
• Weekly Reporting to MDs
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial stat accounts (including variance analysis) for inclusion in quarterly board papers
• Budgeting and forecasting/variance analysis
• Cashflow control 
• Oversee management of Accounts Payable & Receivables
• Prepare customer invoices and produce supporting documentation
• Process supplier invoices for payment in accordance with established procedures
• Supplier negotiations and creditor management
• Processing of weekly and monthly company payroll
• Supervision of month end financial accounting procedures
• Oversee the operations of the Inventory Management System

The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.

Candidate Requirements

• CA or CPA qualified
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar position with Financial Services OR coming from the Big 4 and working with  Financial Services clients
• Immediately available a preference
