A world leading manufacturer requires a permanent Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team in Botany.
Your new company
This market leading manufacturing business based in Botany, South Sydney produces a diverse range of luxury homeware products to both individual and commercial customers.
The finance team is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their them due to an increased workload and an exciting growth period.
Your new role
Working closely alongside the in house Accountant and reporting to the Finance Manager your role will be varied across the accounts function where your duties include but not be limited to:
- Full function Accounts Payable
- Payroll of 100 + staff weekly
- Assisting with Month End Reporting & Journals
- BAS preparation
- Asset management
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Ad hoc duties to assist the Accountant as required
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally hold the following:
- A qualification in Accounting up to Degree level
- Past experience in a similar role
- Proven ability in payroll processing for 100+ employees
- Strong Accounts Payable background
- Advanced Excel skills
- Exposure to MYOB
- A willingness to learn and hardworking attitude
