Financial Accountant

Our client is a leading solar provider, located in the South East of Melbourne. Specialising in PV solar servicing, maintenance and repairs, this privately owned business is looking to expand its team to accommodate growth.
Reporting to the Director, this role is responsible for the following:
- Prepare and complete year end statutory accounts
- Prepare and lodge Income Tax Return
- Ensure high level of integrity of general ledger
- Cashflow forecast and management
- Complete and manage annual budget
- Monthly management reporting to the board
- Indirect tax matters such as payroll tax and GST
- Liaise with eternal stakeholders eg, external auditors
- Ad hoc reporting at the request of the Director
- Management of a small team
To be successful in this role you will require the following:
- Business or Commerce Degree with an accounting major
- CPA or CA qualified
- Minimum four years’ experience
- Year-end accounting process experience
- Strong written and verbal skills
- An ability to manage multiple priorities
- Deadline driven
