- Must have Micropay Meridian system experience or exposure to ERP

An Australian organisation and a true leader in their field is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their supportive and collaboraive team of 3x.
This organisation is seeking someone who can demonstrate strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities/ duties will include:
- End to end processing of 1500 - 1800 employees fortnightly using Micropay Meridian
- Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
- Interpreting EBA awards/agreements in relation to overtime and shift allowances
- Calculating PAYG, super and leave entitlements
- Processing rate changes and calculation of back pays, adjustments, Overpayments, Year -To-End Adjustments
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Tracking the Bank Rejects on a weekly basis and processing Manual Payments
- Preparing year-end payment summaries and all other year-end requirements
- Producing payroll reports
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
To be considered for this opportunity you must have:
- Expertise in using popular Payroll tools such as Micropay Meridian and SAP
- Understanding of Microsoft packages - excel is a must
- Ability to work in a structured and customer focused environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
