The Company
Our client, a reputable global organisation in the FMCG industry are currently on the lookout for a Senior Payments Officer with SAP experience to join their close-knit team. This established organisation offers a great friendly culture with a stable position and career progression for the right candidate. You will have at least five years’ accounts payable experience in a high volume environment and with strong experience processing complex payments.
The Role
The responsibilities of the Senior Payments Officer include but not limited to:
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to process high volume complex payments in a timely manner using SAP
- Liaise with suppliers to manage the quality and timeliness of invoicing/credit receipts
- Maintenance of supplier rates in SAP
- Statement reconciliations
- Contribute to continuous process improvement
Your Profile
You will be self-motivated, resilient and confident decision maker and be able to work well within a close-knit team environment to contribute to process improvement. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You must have a pro-active approach to work and be passionate about process improvement.
Please note, SAP is a mandatory requirement for this role.
