The Company
A Global Fortune 500 organisation listed in Europe with operations across over 100 countries internationally, the organisation is a diverse service and product based business. The Australian operation has experienced strong, organic growth in recent years. With a dynamic and respected leadership team, the group has an ambitious growth plan that will see it further cement its position and expand its Australian presence. With anticipated growth comes the need for a motivated and ambitious Financial Accountant to support the Australian Finance Controller and assist with Group reporting.

The Role
Reporting to the Australian Financial Controller, the focus of this role will be to ensure compliance with all monthly reporting, tax obligations and overhead analysis. Specifically, your role will involve: 

• Managing the month end process to ensure compliance with deadlines
• Performing general ledger and account reconciliations
• Ensuring compliance of statutory accounts with all relevant accounting standards
• Performing monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reporting 
• Preparing tax compliance reports including periodic BAS reporting
• Ad hoc analysis and reporting
• Assistance with the clerical team
• Maintaining open communication and ensuring active collaboration amongst cross-divisional stakeholders 

The Candidate 
You are CA or CPA qualified, with a number of years post-qualification working as a financial accountant. We are seeking candidates that have had exposure to/with complex commercial organisation and experience in compliance reporting and engaging stakeholders across the organisation. Your interpersonal and communication skills are first class, allowing you to gain the confidence of and develop strong professional relationships with those above and below you.
