Balance Co. is a young, vibrant and growing company specialising in end to end bookkeeping and payroll services for McDonald's restaurants across Australia.


Due to continued business growth and development, we require a full-time Bookkeeping / Accounts Assistant to provide support to our busy team.


We are seeking an Accounting graduate to work within our small team, we value attitude over experience and you will be provided with full ongoing training and mentoring. You will be a vibrant individual with exceptional attention to detail, you will be fanatically organised and enjoy the challenge of learning new things. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Senior Bookkeeper you will be responsible for providing assistance within the following areas of our business:

- Processing weekly payroll
- Preparing weekly bank reconciliations
- Processing accounts payables
- Maintaining an up-to-date filing system
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reporting
- Various ad-hoc tasks as required


To be successful in this position you must possess the following skills and attributes:

- A degree in Accounting or a Certificate III in Bookkeeping / Payroll
- Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office products
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work to strict deadlines 
- Fanatically organised
- Motivated, friendly and enthusiastic
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
