Based in beautiful Byron Bay, where we make travel dreams come true, TripADeal is a dynamic travel company expanding at speed. We want you to be part of our fun and energetic Finance team bringing an analytical approach to this new role as Cost Analyst.
This role is the key link between our product development team, flight team and finance in providing cost and financial analysis recommendations and reporting to the business to enhance profit and cost efficiencies.
What the role involves:
- Review financial records and budgets for in depth financial analysis
- Prepare estimates of costs for unique travel products and establish preferred pricing methodologies
- Carry out cost accounting functions for new product and flights while analysing financial data each month
- Run the monthly cost forecasts and ensure accurate recording of expenditure
- Provide assistance to the business in the preparation of budgets
What you will bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting with CPA/CA accreditation highly valued
- Strong critical and analytical thinking to diverse challenging situations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Able to work in a team and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
- Passion for travel and knowledge of the industry
