We are hiring an immediately available Management Accountant with previous experience working alongside operations departments.
Client Details
Our client operates in over 55 countries and is a market leader in the construction and building security industry. They are expanding their finance team and are looking for an experienced Management Accountant with Pronto experience.
Description
- Prepare financial reports and commentaries in regard to financial statements, trends and analysis
- Timely & accurate monthly accounting, budgeting, forecasting & reporting for a portfolio of properties
- Liaising with managerial staff and centralised lease administration unit
- Supervising a team of employees
- Developing and managing financial systems and policies
- Accrual accounting for all lines of Occupancy Cost on a regular basis
- Occupancy Cost Forecasting on a regular basis
- Management of inquiries from both internal and external parties
- Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects
- Advising and creating and generating business strategies to generate shareholder value
- Work with all departments, the management team and internal stakeholders to help make financial decisions and drive performance improvement
- Develop financial models to facilitate and support the decision making process
- Maintain of the integrity and accuracy of the fixed asset register
- Assist with FBT and BAS returns
Profile
- Extensive experience in a similar role within the building services and facility management industry
- Ability to drill into large amounts of data to extract meaningful insights for business improvement, analyse core issues and recommend corrective actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex analysis to various management level
- Strong skills in Excel as well as basic database capabilities, as well as experience with PRONTO ERP
- Proficient in Project Accounting and IFRS
- Exposure working for multinationals and large corporates would be advantageous
