The Company
This is an exciting opportunity for a full function AR Officer to Join this multi-faceted business who are market leaders in their field. Based in the Eastern suburbs, this role is initially temp to start ASAP and will become permanent for the right candidate.
This highly regarded position will require you to manage a large debtor’s ledger with a high number of accounts. Your main responsibility will be to maintain the accounts, reduce debtor days and resolve queries relating to credit claims.
The Role
Reporting to the Credit Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- End-to-end debtor’s ledger management of large major accounts
- Collection calls
- Creating new accounts
- Receipting/invoicing
- Resolving claims queries which have resulted in delays to payments
- Account/Bank Reconciliations
- Allocations
- Banking
- Reporting
- Intermediate Excel skills (v look ups, pivot tables)
Your Profile
You will have previously worked in a very high volume team credit environment with solid AR experience of 5+ years as a minimum, and maintain a high speed of data entry with strong accuracy, be a good problem solver and have an ability to meet tight deadlines.
You will obtain a thorough understanding of the full function AR process and also maintain strong communication, interpersonal, and communication skills. You will also have a great ability to develop strong relationships with Key customers and accounts and have outstanding attention to detail.
Experience in working with Great Plains or other Windows based systems is ideal but not essential.
