After 15 years with Fresenius Medical Care, our Head of Kidney Care ANZ is retiring providing a great opportunity for someone to take over the reins to lead and grow our Kidney Care Business across the country.
Key areas of responsibility:
Reporting to the Managing Director for ANZ, the role is responsible for the quality of patient care, operations, business development, financial results, human resources and the development and implementation of the strategies for the effective management and growth of the Kidney Care business in Australia and New Zealand .
Having ownership of the full P&L, the role will monitor and drive operational and financial performance of the Kidney Care network whilst sustaining a growth and profit position and maintaining effective cost control.
The successful candidate will use their understanding of key market drivers to assess the healthcare landscape in order to create and seize business opportunities, expand Kidney Care operations into new markets and provide innovative solutions and services
You will ensure the ongoing quality of patient care and initiate and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, existing and potential partners, external vendors and key opinion leaders (government, industry, not-for-profits).
Qualifications and Experience:
You will possess:
- Proven success in a leadership position directly responsible for a patient care business
- Ability to consistently deliver results in challenging environments.
- Ability to make tough decisions that have company-wide impact, while managing risk.
- Experience in negotiating with Health Funds
- Experience in negotiating EBA’s negotiating work place terms that enhance productivity and create a positive work environment
- Extensive experience in business planning (strategising, forecasting and budgeting).
- Excellent relationship building capability
