Crescent Institute is a NFP and is Australia's most accessible pre-eminent networking and thought leadership group. Open to all, it aims to promote a place where there is an opportunity to meet and learn from Australian thought leaders and provide unique learning opportunities.

With an emphasis on community and business engagement, the Crescent Institute adheres to ethical and socially responsible initiatives that promote positive change in Australia. Leaders of Australia's business, cultural sport and political landscape regularly address the members of the Institute.

Role

• Oversee 16-18 events a year across five states
• Co-ordinate the activities of a team of 25 volunteers
• Help to develop, market and run Learning & Development programs with Harvard Club of Australia & Future Makers Program
• Document and improving business processes 
• Grow our presence across the web and social media channels
• Working closely with the Marketing Lead, Marketing Co-ordinator and State Leads

The Crescent Foundation is a NFP that is passionate about bringing positive change to the Australian community. 

The Foundation aims to be the flag bearer on three major causes:

• Refugee Education 
• Helping the homeless & houseless; and
• The conservation of Australian Islamic Art & Culture.

Role

• Identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders across our causes working with amongst others Western Sydney University, Scouts NSW and Artists & Art Galleries 
• Develop and document the programs of our causes
• Grow our presence across the web and social media channels
• Working closely with the Marketing Lead, Co-ordinator and Board

You're our person if you:

• Are a born leader with an ability to mentor, motivate and inspire whilst being a strong brand ambassador and living up the  Institute's & Foundation's values of collaboration, a, responsiveness, excellence and of course making the world a better place.
• have at least 5 years' experience in a similar events, thought leadership and/or NFP management roles
• have proven experience driving performance and growth against business' key performance indicators, and can proudly demonstrate such achievements.
• have a hands-on approach to do what it takes to excel, with a do-what-it-takes mentality.
• have solid experience maintaining relationships across a range of professionals externally and the Crescent Group at all levels.
• have an ability to work under pressure with confidence, drive and enthusiasm, as well as excellent decision-making abilities.
• have solid experience in writing funding applications and pitches and raising 
• are tech savvy with social Media, SEO and SEM expertise and experience
