Introduction to role: 
  
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fleet account manager to join our organisation.  Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - Northern, this role is responsible for responsible for identifying sales opportunities, conversion, account management and growth planning. The vital elements of this role are: The development of a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with the Nissan dealer network, managing the current customer base, and prospecting for new business.
  
Our Regional Fleet Manager – Northern will be working with new and existing customers both in partnership with our Nissan Dealers and independently as a brand representative. This role is responsible for maximising short, medium and long-term fleet market share in all fleet sale segments.
 
As the successful candidate, your key responsibilities are to:
  • Deliver increased fleet sales in the Northern Region
  • Work with the National fleet team to implement comprehensive sales plans
  • Drive sales growth in designated fleet segments                                      
  • Develop strong and collaborative relationships that support existing clients
  • Identify new customers with the National and Regional teams
  • Work closely with the Nissan Dealer Network, District Sales Managers and other management 
  • Develop and implement a Regional fleet plan with approval of National and Regional Management
  • Be an active participant in business improvement

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
  • A degree in a business related discipline is ideal but not essential                          
  • Proven business development experience in a corporate B2B 'long lead time' sales environment
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of business drivers
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • The ability to travel inter and intrastate as the business requires
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively articulate compelling sales arguments and value propositions
  • Excellent analytical skills teamed with data driven decision making ability
  • Excellent problem solving and lateral thinking skills
  • Strong customer focus and exceptional influencing /negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial and business acumen
  • High energy with a can do attitude - leading by example
