A dynamic opportunity has been created within this small wholesaling business selling into the Pool industry via a network of retailers and agents. We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Business Development Manager to contribute to the success of our national distribution network based in Bayswater.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for both maintaining and growing our existing client relationships nationally with a very strong focus on securing new business in states where we have limited representation.

To be successful in this role you will be required to demonstrate the following:

  • A strong track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets through business to business customers across long sales life cycles.
  • A passion for appropriately turning targeted cold calls into dedicated business partners while maintaining both your pipeline and growing your existing revenue streams.
  • Strong, ethical relationship management skills, ability in cross/up selling products and strategic account management experience including CRM maintenance and reporting.
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft's Suite and technology generally.
  • An ability to be hands on with training resellers on the benefits of the company’s product range versus competitors.
  • There will also be times where on-site visits may be required from a warranty management perspective.
  • Knowledge of the regulations surrounding the pool industry would be an advantage.

This opportunity will suit a commercially astute, results orientated and self-motivated individual, with a proven track record in B2B sales with an ability to positively influence and forge strong and lasting mutually beneficial business relationships. 

Whilst a pool industry background is preferable, this is not essential, but strong sales skills are.
