About The Role

Smoke Alarm Solutions is the industry leader in the servicing of smoke alarms in residential rental properties.  We currently take care of more than 265,000 Australian homes.  

Our service is provided to real estate agents, landlords, strata management companies, the Government, Community Housing Authorities, shared and budget accommodation, holiday rental properties, home owners, property investment specialists and international owners of property in Australia. 

Due to ongoing growth and the addition of a suite of services which extend beyond smoke alarms we require a new addition to our sales team to service our territory from Mackay to Bundaberg. 

As a BDM/Account Manager you will be responsible for creating, nurturing and maintaining relationships with your clients who are primarily Property Managers. The ability to quickly and effectively build rapport with people at all levels is essential whether by phone or face to face. We want an enthusiastic self-starter who is comfortable with being measured against activity and outcomes. You need to be ambitious and hungry for success! 

This large territory needs to be serviced by car so you must be prepared to travel often with regular overnight trips and be clear that there is a significant amount of driving involved in this role. Regular attendance to out of hours events (including but not limited to cocktail parties, three course dinners and conferences) should be expected and enjoyed! 

The right person will be rewarded with a base salary, uncapped commission structure, mobile phone, laptop, iPad and a fully maintained company vehicle.

Previous experience in B2B sales to real estate agents and/or property management experience highly regarded.
