This national Events Services company are one of the most successful and well-established one-stop-shops for lighting, rigging and audio / visual solutions for events and conferences across Australia. With an expanding Sydney and Melbourne team, they currently have a brand new opportunity for an experienced Senior Account Manager / Sales Manager to help service new and existing clients.
The Role
Sitting in a team of 10 within the Production Sales Team (the technical arm) in their Melbourne office, a typical day will involve:
- Contacting and networking with existing clients to investigate requirements
- Preparing quotes, bookings, bids and tenders - consulting at all stages of the process and establishing long-term relationships and multi-year contracts
- Upselling and cross-selling to produce a completely tailor-made offering
- Liaise with Project Managers to ensure on-site logistics run smoothly
- Ensure all documentation is issued and received correctly, and all supporting admin carried out
- Following up for customer feedback and invoicing

- Previous Business Development / Account Management experience in the Events industry

- A background in lighting, rigging or audio / visual products
- Strong rapport building and negotiation skills
