This Company is widely recognised for setting the technology standard by focusing on research and development. As their sales function is growing rapidly, the company needs help with lead qualification and generation.

You will be a confident, self-motivated individual who is happy to be on the phone all day making outbound calls to corporate clients. These are warm calls and you will be provided with a list of contacts who have already expressed an interest in the company and its products.

Personality is more important than experience - if you have a desire to do well and the drive to be successful then this could be your chance to start your career in IT software sales.

This is a pure lead qualification role to ensure the sales team have the best opportunity to make successful sales. You will be responsible for ensuring the contact is the decision maker, has a budget, has a time-frame and has a need. Supported by the local sales team you will report into a Manager based in the US, so self-motivation, resilience and confidence are key.

In addition to earning a quarterly bonus for achieving KPI's you will also earn uncapped commission based on the revenue generated by the sales team! This makes you an important part of the sales team.


The role:

  • Outbound calling to corporate clients to properly qualify sales leads (60+ Calls per day)
  • Contact prospects generated from marketing campaigns to gain a clear understanding of buying needs & timeframes
  • Schedule follow-up conference calls between prospects and Sales teams as appropriate
  • Follow up marketing campaigns and provide detailed feedback on the success of each campaign
  • Keep Saleforce.com database up-to-date and manage information in the database on all prospects & opportunities
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity targets to ensure territory revenue objectives

To be successful in this role, you must have the following essential criteria:

  • A graduate with a a degree in Marketing and some experience with lead generation OR 1/2 years’ experience in B2B outbound lead qualification/sales, ideally in the IT software industry would be preferred
  • An interest in security software is preferred
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively
  • First class written and verbal communications skills to demonstrate various products and services
  • The ability to focus on highlighting business benefits & advantages as well as product or service features
  • Experience with SalesForce.com is preferred
  • An eye for detail with a very results focused personality
  • The ability to work independently and well under pressure
  • A self-starter with the desire and drive to be successful
  • Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment as well as being a team player
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills

Our client's office is located close to a major train station on the Lower North Shore and you will be required to work standard office hours, Monday to Friday. This is NOT a call centre environment.
