As the National Customer Development Manager for this business you will be joining at a time of strategic change. This newly created role reports to the National Sales And Marketing Manager and will go along way into shaping the exciting customer plans that are now at the forefront of their planned success.

This role is responsible for driving improvements in all aspects of customer service and will be charged with leading the development , launch and implementation of a compelling customer promise that will differentiate them in the market.

You will be able to make an immediate difference , be totally accountable for your results and be rewarded for your efforts whilst working with a committed team to take this already highly successful business to the next level of customer excellence

What you will be doing

As National Customer Development Manager you will be responsible for the Customer Service function and ensure that all aspects achieve industry best practice and is a source of strategic competitive advantage.You will be charged with leading the Specification and Technical services function across the business to deliver excellent support to customers, build the specification pipeline and ensure the sales team is supported and equipped to win.

In this role you will also be responsible for improving systems, processes and capabilities that fully equip the sales function to win , while also overseeing the Export business.

The key accountabilities include:

  • Creation of compelling value propositions for the customer and the business

What you can offer

The National Customer Development Manager will ideally have:

  • Tertiary and post graduate qualifications in Commerce or a related discipline
  • Proven success and experience in leading a best practice Customer function with national responsibility in a B2B environment
  • Outstanding record implementing a customer value proposition
  • Outstanding leadership capability
  • Exceptional customer focus
  • High level of technical acumen with skills in best practice Customer disciplines
  • Ability to influence internal and external key stakeholders
