Your new company
A leading Hardware and Building supplies organisation in the NSW region. They turnover in excess of 100 million and they have multiple locations throughout Sydney, and a vast and high quality product range sold directly to trade and everyday customers. They have a solid and loyal customer base, and with ambitious growth and consolidation plans are firmly set in place, this has created numerous opportunities for experience Sales Representatives for the building industry to join their operation.

Your new role
The role will operate within a radius of one of their multiple branches, this particular role will cover a territory surrounding their Dural branch, servicing existing trade accounts and also developing new business. Responsibilities include the following;

  • Drive sales of various Hardware and Building products within your designated Geographical territory
  • Regular visits to and maintaining relationships with customers - mainly Builders and Tradesmen
  • Providing technical support on the broad product range and assisting with the processing of order through the local branch
  • Supporting sales objectives set by the leadership team and work closely with branch staff to deliver on customer expectations
  • Manage accounts with key customers and proactively seek out new business opportunities within your territory
  • Forecast sales, developing “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluating their effectiveness
  • Manage “approved” accounts credit matters, such as assess and arrange appropriate limits or secure payments where accounts are overdue
  • Attend meeting, trade shows, other sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments



What you'll need to succeed
• You are an accomplished sales representative
• You have demonstrated experience of generating new business and/or introducing new product lines into your territory
• You are able to effectively time manage a large territory of customers autonomously, and you are truly driven and hungry to meet sales targets and earn commission.
• No fear of hunting for new clients and ability to act on opportunities to cross sell and upsell
• Confidence and energy with strong communication skills.
• A strong knowledge hardware and building materials would be beneficial
• Applicants that have Trade experience, i.e. Builder, Carpenter, and possess strong sales capabilities will also be considered.

What you'll get in return

  • Base salary $70,000- $75,000
  • Car allowance plus fuel reimbursement
  • Uncapped monthly commission structure - % of sales over threshold
