We are currently working on a number of Business Development Manager positions for one of our key clients who is a long-established supplier of frozen and chilled meat products into the retail, wholesale and food service channels. With offices across Australia and New Zealand they are poised for an exciting expansion drive which should very much make them one of the leaders within their field.
Role:
- Manage existing accounts and develop a pipeline of new business by generating your own leads
- Maximise sales of existing customers to achieve maximum profitability and revenue
- Develop effective sales strategies to achieve set targets & KPI’s
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning
- Be an ambassador for the company, attending trade shows & industry events
- Effectively plan and manage your working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times of customers.
Person:
- Proven track record within B2B field-based sales and account management within the food industry
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Strong communication skills, internally and externally
- Ability to journey plan and manage your own diary
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Full driving licence
