 Graphic Packaging International Australia Converting Ltd is a leader in innovative design and manufacture of printed folded cartons for blue chip customers in a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, food and FMCG.

Our Braeside site is seeking an energetic, driven and results focused sales professional who has a proven track record at opening new doors and building relationships.  You will manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts within the FMCG market as well as building new client relationships.

Knowledge in all facets of print production within a packaging environment is highly desirable as well as a commitment to going over and above your customers’ expectations in levels of service and customer satisfaction. In addition, experience in Beverage Packaging Systems and/or Food Packaging Systems would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have industry experience in generating new business and account management. You will be passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously. You will possess a high ability to identify customer needs, actively listen to business challenges of our customers, and understand commercial information.

Reporting into the National Sales Manager your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing existing accounts;
• Identify and building new relationships within existing customer base;
• Develop new business and relationships; and
• Developing customer solutions.

• a strong understanding of print and the packaging industry;
• skill to develop strong relationships with prospects and clients;
• determination to 'close the sale';
• excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills;
• a high level of attention to professionalism, detail and accuracy;
• able to call prospects without fear of retaliation; and
• a drive to work under pressure to achieve targets.

A highly attractive remuneration package is on offer that includes a car allowance.
