My client is a cutting edge, industry disrupting software company. Their market leading SaaS solutions enable real time strategic, cost saving decisions that mitigate exposure to risk. They have taken their industry by storm and are currently expanding dramatically as a result.
 
As a Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with managing tier one accounts across Insurance, Construction, Engineering and Property bringing on new business within your client portfolio as well as retention. There is a strong track record of overachievement in the team and there is a real opportunity to exceed targets.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities across account portfolio
  • Achievement of revenue targets (very realistic targets with accelerators kicking in for over achievement) 
  • Internal and external key stakeholder management
  • Development of strategic territory plans
  • Commercial and legal contractual negotiations
Key skills required: 
  • Extensive track record of software (SaaS) sales achievement in an Account Management and New Business focused role. 
  • Experience of selling insights/analytics/subscription services/data/software
  • You will be a proven hunter with strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Ability to create strategic territory development plans
  • Extremely consultative approach to account management and business development 
  • Experience of dealing at multiple levels with target clients
