We have an exciting opportunity to join our business in a specialist Business Development capacity with a focus on power solutions. Based in Adelaide, but an integral part of a national team of likeminded solutions specialists. This exciting role will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your entrepreneurial flair and technical competence by creating solutions encompassing hardware, connectivity, software and services.
Your solutions will empower our customer to understand, control and solve their energy management and power solution needs. This will enable them to realise the true value of a reliable and efficient electrical network. This will include focusing or developing customer business relationships and growing turnover on an ongoing basis.
Specific day to day activities will include
- Contribute to the evolution of the sales and marketing strategies
- Manage the business development of System Integrators
- Help customers keep up to date with new products and engineered solutions
- Develop value propositions for customer
- Create sales initiatives and provide sales forecasts
- Work with other business units and attend sales events to promote collaboration

In addition, you possess the following relevant attributes:
- Proven sales or account specialist in solution sales with solid software engineered solutions hardware/software and service expertise
- Exposure to builders, contractors and consultants;
- Electrical distribution; SCADA; metering; power quality & EMS would be advantageous as would an A grade electrical certification, marketing, sales or engineering qualifications
- Highly developed verbal communication and relationship building skills
