Automotive Tyre Sector - Sales and Marketing Support (OEM) Melbourne

My client is a leader in the automotive industry, within vehicle import and distribution.  With a key focus on increasing service and customer retention levels to through aftersales programs, they have a role for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate.

 
The Role
  
This challenging role involves working closely with the vehicle manufacturers dealer network. The key focus of the position is assisting dealers with their queries (over the phone/email) relating to tyre specifications and information and working with the dealerships to help them develop sales opportunities with key local businesses.

We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated and driven, who is also self managed and an effective operator.  A background in the tyre industry is essential, and an understanding of dealer / franchise operations would be of strong value.  Additionally Tertiary qualification would be highly regarded but not essential.
  
With demonstrated experience in the automotive tyre sector, the successful candidate will have experience in a sales, marketing or customer focused role, along with the ability to show success in developing and implementing plans and delivery of company objectives. 

We are seeking a strategic thinker with the ability to communicate at all levels within the dealer network, and identify growth opportunities.

Salary

A salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on experience and attributes.  A fully maintained company vehicle, bonus, phone and laptop will be additions to the base salary.
