Our client is a global business and market leading construction products manufacturer; on their behalf we are looking to secure a self motivated, results driven and customer focused sales professional into their Brisbane team.
To be considered you must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills combined with a successful sales track record. You will focus approximately 60% of your time on hunting for new opportunities and 40% nurturing and developing existing accounts.
If successful in securing this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Grow and develop sales and revenue across your portfolio of accounts
- Develop and implement call and account plans aligned to regional sales strategy
- Identify new opportunities for 'added value' products and services
- Prepare quotes and submit tenders
- Update CRM system to capture all customer information.
To be considered you must have the following skills and experience;
- Ideally you will be degree qualified in a related subject
- Proven ability to identify, develop and nurture effective business relationships;
- First class customer service skills;
- Previous experience in offering 'value-add' products and services;
- The ability to sell on features and benefits, not price alone.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
- Strong numerical, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated and energetic with a positive outlook
To be successful in this role, you must possess exceptional sales, account management and customer service. You must have highly developed communication and presentation skills and the ability to effectively deal with a wide cross section of different customers. Experience selling building materials to the building/construction industry would be highly regarded.
