About the Role
Our client is now seeking a driven and hungry sales professional to join their sales team, to be based in Sydney, covering a broad territory, with the ability to work from home when not out in the field. You will be required to manage existing clients aswell as build new clients and will be willing to travel in this role. Your initial 3 months will see you spend some time in Orange, learning about the business and getting to know the team. You will also be required to meet with Orange based clients from time to time.
  
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Meeting specified targets and KPIs within your territory and reporting to the National Sales Manager
  • Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities to achieve sales growth
  • Maintaining product knowledge to ensure a consultative and through level of service
  • Travel throughout a broad territory in the Sydney region
  • Initial time spent in Orange office to cover training
  • Managing existing accounts
  • Ensuring consistent follow up with clients
  
To be successful for this role you must have the following:
  • Industry & product knowledge specific to the plumbing/water management sector
  • 3-4 years experienced in a sales/business development role desirable
  • Proven ability to meet KPI’s and targets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent written communication
  • Proven ability to self-manage and be self-disciplined
  • Team focused
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Demonstrated ability to be driven towards strong results
