We are actively seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to manage our beverage portfolio across On and Off premise channels.

Reporting to the National Business Manager, you will focus on winning market share through ranging, visibility and developing strong sales strategies within the On and off-premise channels (Liquor, Grocery, P & C, HORECA).

Global Beverage Brands is a family owned and operated business.  We are full of passionate people and fantastic brands, shaped by our people and spirited entrepreneurship. 

This is a newly created role with strong focus on ranging in new accounts within Victoria

This role will see you being a key partner with both On and Off Premise customers, adding great value to their business overall and essentially leading brilliant activations in their venues.

We’re looking for someone amazing - someone who is agile in their approach, can multi-task with ease, is self-motivated and who customers genuinely want to partner with. 

This is a sales role, so proven sales results are important and networking skills are vital

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The planning and execution of sales and marketing activities
  • Ranging in as many On & Off venues
  • Contract negotiations
  • Building customer relationships
  • Joint business planning
  • Execution in trade
  • Developing new business
     

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Must be a permanent Australian Resident

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years in sales and account management roles
  • Experience within the Liquor industry in Australia / FMCG
  • Strong stakeholder management skills both internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to list new brands and private label business
  • Up to date knowledge of the working ways of On & Off premise channels
  • Demonstrate financial and commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Confident and capable of operating at all levels in retail
  • Proven track record of P&L management, budget delivery and growth momentum
  • You will be a strategic thinker with the hunger and confidence to effectively develop and deliver account strategy plans and achieve GBB results
  • Have the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally will be a key part to your success, so you must be able to demonstrate a range of influencing styles and techniques
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Positive attitude & strong resilience
  • Ability to work both independently but also contribute to a building strong team environment.
  • Talent for thinking outside the box to deliver over & above our customer's expectations
  • Enjoys working both autonomously and as part of team
