Are you currently in a National Account Management position within a larger FMCG, frustrated by the red tape, hierarchy and the every dwindling ability to think innovatively locally? Or, are you a seasoned Key Account Manager with a strong skill set across both account management and insights looking to take that next step within your career? Are you nodding yet?


If so, this may be that opportunity you've been looking for. With the remit to join this growing and passionate FMCG as they continue to develop their presence in the Australian market. With a unique product offering, as well as passionate and engaged consumers, you will be taking the lead on their largest accounts, focused on developing the brand presence and retailer relationships further. 


Where will you grow in this role?
  • With already well-established relationships, you will seek to find great category stories in order to continue to support the growth of this highly competitive but well-established category
  • Full ownership over the end to end success of the grocery channel, you will leverage and develop your skill set in category, shopper and traditional account management
  • Given the size of the portfolio, you will lead, this is a highly visible role to the SLT team in Australia and internationally
  • Working and leveraging cross-functional relationships in order to capitalise on opportunities for growth, through new product development, promotional programs and trade marketing

What will determine success in this opportunity?
  • Given the importance of this role in the business, this would suit an already established National Account Manager or exceptional Key Account Manager looking to take the next step
  • Experience working with the key retailers within an FMCG environment, ideally with experience having worked in Liquor
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong business planning sense and the ability to not only develop the high-level strategy but a drive and determination to execute that into the retailers
  • A desire to drive all business decisions from local insights, with a clear focus on accountability and working autonomously
