The Business and the Role:
You will be joining a highly regarded Mortgage Broker as an Appointment setter. Working closely with the brokers, you will be calling prospective clients to arrange appointments, confirming and qualifying appointments, as well as keeping excellent administration records. Your core responsibility is to close appointments and ensure the client has a clear understanding of what is expected of them in relation to their appointment.
This role is highly attractive to candidates who want to get their foot in the door into the industry and work closely and collaboratively with a team of brokers.
About the role:
- Ability to connect and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals from various occupations and backgrounds
- You will be dealing with prospective clients who are very familiar with the brand.
- The role involves calling clients who in an effort to assist them in comparing their homeloan and hopefully find them a better rate.
- The role will require you to build rapport and show them the value in comparing their current homeloan.
- The position will also require strong attention to detail, ensuring that every lead is followed up on.
- Document compliantly all client correspondence and complete any required administrative processes in an effective manner
- Effectively work with your allocated leads to exceed your monthly targets.

Skills and experience
- Experience in appointment setting or outbound telemarketing environment preferred
- Ability to follow a script and book genuine appointments
- Great communication skills with a clear English speaking voice
- A confident and outgoing personality, with great objection handling skills
- Basic data entry skills
- Commitment to achieving targets
