With good reason, Isuzu is Australia's highest selling truck brand. Quality, reliability and a great price all add to the reason why one in every four new trucks sold in Australia carry the Isuzu name. Over the years our Lismore team have seen great success as a dealership, and they know the Isuzu truck range has been an exceptional contributor.

To help share this success, the team are currently recruiting for an Experienced New Truck Sales Consultant to help add to our year on year growth. This position has become available due to an internal transfer.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in commercial truck sales, with sound knowledge of truck bodies and their uses
  • An ability to delight our customers with your superior and professional service standards
  • Customer driven with the desire to maximise the most of your abilities
  • Knowledge of transport industry, GVM’s, weight & load capacities
  • Excellent work ethic with great reliability (available 5.5 days a week which will include some Saturday’s)
  • Fantastic communicator both verbally and written (using computer skills) with a strong commitment to closing the deal
  • A self-starter who can equally work autonomously and contribute towards team goals
  • HR licence preferred

What the role entails:

  • Handling of truck customer enquiries and prospecting for new customers
  • Ensuring a follow-up system is in place that encourages repeat business and generates leads
  • Delivering results on our brands' average gross profit and sales objectives
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all current product benefits and features including: models, series, new features, specifications, prices, options, packs and accessories
