Area Sales Manager job in Melbourne - Manufacturing Woodwork

This Manufacturing Company are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager for their Melbourne office. They are looking for a highly motivated and well-presented individual to build their presence by targeting new contacts and clients. Being a new role you will have a huge impact in the future of this relationship driven business.

Your new role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible in actively seeking out new business opportunities and work towards KPI’s to achieve Sales targets. Being a resourceful and dynamic professional, you will design and implement sales strategies and will be expected to develop a keen and insightful perspective into your market position and will be able to identify new prospects for future business.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role previous sales experience with a proven track record of working towards KPI’s and sales targets will be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Hardware or Machine Sales Representative, more specifically within the woodworking industry. The right candidate will take a great deal of pride in their work and have a ‘go getter’ attitude. Strong communication and relationship building skills will be essential to this role. You will be confident and possess the ability to work autonomously as you will be the driving force in securing new business for the company in Melbourne.
