The role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Account Manager to join our Express Parcels team and maintain a portfolio of customers
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and source new business opportunities within current accounts
- Drive commercial conversations with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and nurture business relationships with existing clients to meet organic growth targets, as well as establishing rapport with new clients.
- Undertake complete customer profitability modelling
- Responsible for managing customer negotiations in relation to commercial strategies and trading terms
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Ability to establish rapport and build business relationships across multiple layers within an organization
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
- Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
- A polished presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A background of account management derived from a transport/freight forwarding business
