The company:
Our client is an Australian ICT consultancy offering a full suite of managed services to thousands of clients around the country. They are expanding their sales team and are looking for a BDM within the SMB to Mid-Market space to join their dynamic Sydney CBD team.

The opportunity:
Your primary remit will be to generate new business opportunities within SMB to Mid-Market organisations. A proven track record of success and a hunger to succeed will help you thrive in this team and they are a motivated and results driven team that offer lucrative rewards for high achievers!

You will bring a wide range ICT Managed Services to your customers tailoring solutions that will optimise the performance of their business.

You:

  • Demonstrable track record of success in Solutions sales
  • Complex ICT and Software solutions experience - desirable
  • Energetic, driven attitude towards business development
  • Proven new business and account development track record - results speak for themselves
  • Hungry & Ambitious
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation and negotiation skills.

The Role:

  • Create a well-qualified pipeline of prospective managed services and solutions opportunities by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with key decision-makers
  • Prepare quality proposal/tender responses and quotations and deliver professional presentations on our diverse range of products and solutions
  • A thorough understanding of the client’s objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes in order to ensure long-term business partnerships and trusted advisor status
  • Responsible for leading the customer interaction, project scoping, managing pre-sales cycles and processes before handling over to architecture and delivery teams
  • Engage and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels throughout your customer base
  • Acquiring and updating knowledge of employer's and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions
  • Work closely with pre-sales, technical support teams, presenting a unified approach
