My client is one Australia’s leading OEM’s of fully automated packaging and processing equipment. They have been around for over 93 years and they have driven the global market with excellence and proven customer service. One of their key drivers has been their staff that they have employee over the years. The General Manager is about hiring individuals that have the energy and personal attributes to bring new ideas and motivation to the company nationally and internationally.
In this challenging role you’re going to need a technical consulting direction , your to support and mark the market out by focusing on new business projects with a few key areas , you will be dealing with a large number of market areas like
- Transport & Logistics
- Agriculture
- Pharmaceutical & Medical
- Manufacturing
- Mining
You will be targeting plant managers, service managers, Workshops management right up to the top of the chain to CEO’s. It’s essential that you know how to sell and can sell with conviction. You’re going to be the face of the business and your sales capabilities is must in role like this. You need to work through with the management on how you can better their service lines or apply upgrades to their equipment ie spare parts and aftermarket support. You have a huge product direction with this and you need to be comfortable selling end to end high speed manufacturing lines. Your outstanding track record in new business sales distinguishes you from your peers. You are driven to succeed and are renowned for your strategic business thinking, technical expertise and solution-focussed approach, encompassed by your ability to deliver exceptional customer service and marketing strategies. The focus to the role is to develop and deliver high quality customer service and make mark in the industry.
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ Years in selling packaging or turnkey equipment
- Electrical or Mechatronic degree
- Australian resident or Citizen
- Proven success in selling into Sydney business
- Winning attitude
- Attention to detail
- Strong sales capabilities to work through project sale tenders.
On Offer my client is willing to provide a base salary plus a car allowance you will be reward with a bonus package which other rep get national. Full training plus travel nationally to receive ongoing development from the OEM is how to sell certain equipment is on offer. Tools of trade i.e. phone and laptop plus company credit card.
