Our client is a global market leading technology company whom design and manufacture a range of equipment used in a variety of process industries. With offices throughout the globe they have a large corporate network offering career opportunities and progression. As a result of their growth strategy they are expanding their team in Melbourne with the addition of a number of internal Account Managers. As a large organisation they can offer industry specific training locally in Melbourne.
Based in the South Eastern Suburbs you will be responsible for selling these solutions in to the FMCG food manufacturing companies, supply chain and logistics providers, OEM’s and system integrators. Our client has an established account base in both the metro and regional areas of Australia and these expansion roles will have a primary function to support this customer base by handling incoming enquiries, up-selling, cross selling and solutions selling with accounts in both Melbourne and Interstate. You will therefore be a real people person with an inquisitive nature and you will have a natural flair for both rapport building and sales.
Suitable applicants will come from an internal sales or customer services background in any industry, however you will be a fast learner and you will have a technical aptitude. You will be smart, bright and hungry for success and you will relish the idea of a commission structure more than just a generous base salary.
