What's the role?
We're seeking a digital savvy sales professional to join our team at the Geelong Advertiser in a 12 month maternity leave contract role. Working as a digital lead supporting our Sales team, you will work across a wide array of clients delivering innovative and tailored digital advertising solutions across display, search and social. Whether it be website, YouTube videos or social media posts, you know how to effectively reach any audience on any device. Reporting to the Group Digital Manager, you will conduct true discovery meetings and develop a full-service digital strategy which is aligned to our customer's business goals and return on investment expectations. You will successfully coach our Sales team and customers so they can gain a deeper understanding of our digital marketing products and benefits.
Who you are
You'll be known for your digital knowledge and ability to understand and sell digital advertising solutions. You proactively keep up to date with the latest trends across the ever-changing digital landscape. You are a strategic problem solver who can provide creative solutions to customer's problems. You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders. You are a true collaborator who has the ability to positively influence people and ultimately increase successful digital product adoption.
You'll ideally have proven digital marketing experience in media, however we're open to hearing from digitally savvy professionals from any industry. You thrive working in a high-energy, constantly changing environment where you know you'll get out what you put in. You'll also be highly organised with the ability to work solidly under pressure.

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract to commence end of August 2018. This is a part-time role - 4 days a week where you have the flexibility to choose your own working days!
