Supported by a Global brand, as the Business Development Executive you will be responsible for approaching new, current and past accounts with a focus on developing new business opportunities.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be working closely with your team and reporting through to the General Manager of Sales and Marketing based in Sydney.
As a Business Development Executive, your responsibilities will include:
- Selling products and services to new and existing customers in attempt to build an in-depth understanding of a clients current and future business needs and drivers
- Proactively network with existing customers to sell additional products
- Target calls to generate sales revenue in line with new business targets
- Keep up to date with technical product knowledge and general sales trends and techniques
- Accurately record sales and order information in the CRM
- Work closely with the Tender Manager to create effective proposals and produce presentations to customers
- Previous experience in a similar role where you have exceeded sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent sales negotiation, and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial relationship and business development skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable to be able to work with minimal supervision
- Previous experience using SAP and Salesforce would be advantageous
- A degree in Business/Commerce would be beneficial
