About the Company

We are a financial services firm in the heart of the CBD. We work closely with companies seeking to list on the ASX, and distribute their IPO offering to retail investors. We distribute unique structured investment opportunities and a busy equities and derivatives trading desk.

About the role

Your title will be Investment Consultant. In this role you will operate from a script to provide information and advice on the various IPO/capital raising campaigns we have running. Qualifications/experience aren't essential but we do need someone with passion and determination, as well as some awareness of the finance space. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the financial services industry, and potentially an entry level position with fantastic career development opportunities.You will join another Investment Consultant, in a sales team of four with full administration support.

• Opportunity to start a career in Financial Services and be fast-tracked to opportunities such as Senior sales consultant, Stock Broker or trader.
• You will be reporting directly to the CEO; he will mentor and train you.
• You will be making well qualified outbound-calls so your ability to communicate effectively and work hard is essential to your success.

About you

You are passionate about career development but understand that you need to learn more; you are looking for some mentoring and an opportunity to prove yourself within a business which nurtures fresh talent. Ideally you have studied and graduated from a Finance/Business Degree and are looking to enter a Sales role to further your career.

Skills & Experience

• Some sales experience and understanding
• Ability and aptitude to selling
• Proven long term commitment to a role
• University qualification or Undertaking one
• Strong interest in Finance
• Strong communication skills; natural ability to engage and build rapport
• Right to work in Australia
