Our client is a well-regarded, multinational business, invested in the manufacturing and sale of quality Mechanical Power Transmission equipment, Gears and Chain products.  They are seeking a Technical Salesperson, to be based in Brisbane,to service their customers from Central Queensland to Northern NSW.
 
With a focus on nurturing and developing current accounts and identifying new business opportunities, you will implement the strategic sales plan. Some travel is required, on average about 1 in every 6 weeks, covering designated areas. Working in a collaborative environment with a professional and experienced team, you will enjoy significant product support internally and from Product Managers. Finally, to be successful, your tenacity and resilience along with an effective suite of business tools to further support your outcomes. 
 
To be successful, you will have:
  • Mechanical Trade or Qualification viewed favourably
  • Strong mechanical technical aptitude
  • Experience selling Mechanical Power Transmission or Fluid Power products
  • Quantifiable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Structured approach to sales - call plans/cycles, CRM management, high activity levels
  • Ability to create strong business relationships
  • Desire to succeed and thirst for new products
  • Good presentation and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
 
You will be rewarded with a competitive salary plus superannuation, car & incentives based on performance – up to 20% of base salary, plus tools of the trade (phone, notebook etc).
