We are PFD Food Services, Australia's largest privately owned food service company (www.pfdfoods.com.au). Established in 1943, PFD now has almost 70 branches in metropolitan and regional areas around Australia. We have a broad range of customers such as local restaurants, cafes, hospitals, schools, pubs and clubs!
The Role
The purpose of this role is to maximise the sales and distribution of our products via a portfolio of institutional key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving category growth in the state
- Build and maintain relationships with our major accounts
- Plan and achieve agreed sales, product and profit targets
- Set promotional plans with customers
- Achieve targets for new products and grow existing products
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
- Sales or key account experience preferably in the FMCG industry
- Strong selling and negotiating ability
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers
- Qualification in a sales or business related discipline
- Self- motivated and driven
- Ability to prioritise and meet key deadlines
- Excellent analytical and planning skills
