We currently have an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced sales specialist to join the Workplace Infrastructure (WPI) team. The position, based in New South Wales, is primarily responsible for selling Dräger Infrastructure products throughout NSW, ACT and QLD, and reports to the WPI Sales & Business Developer.
Key responsibilities of the role include:

Identify and manage all sales opportunities for the WPI portfolio in the assigned territory; turning opportunities into sales to achieve sales targets for the WPI segment.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels within the territory and hospital buying group.

Develop, together with the customer the ideal device/solution to meet customer needs.

Negotiate deals, prices and prepare customer quotations within company authority guidelines

Internal training of new and existing products, including any updates within the WPI portfolio

Plan, organise & deliver equipment demonstrations and sales presentations to a target audience to ensure the features and benefits of the products specific to each customer environment are understood and valued to assist in the achievement of sales targets

Participate in road shows, trade displays and conferences.

Keep updated reference centre list for WPI systems

Utilisation of conceptual selling techniques to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions

Enter data into CRM system to ensure customer data and opportunities are accurately recorded and maintained to allow for meaningful analysis and reporting.

Developing and executing a territory specific business plan to ensure effective territory coverage.
The successful candidate will possess:

Tertiary qualification in Marketing/Business or related discipline

Prior experience in similar position (sales / account management) within the medical device industry preferred
-
Demonstrated selling (proposing, presenting, negotiation) skills.

Knowledge of hospital / healthcare group purchasing practices.

Knowledge of current and future trends in the medical device field.

Must be a capable English communicator to effectively articulate verbal and written company/product information to customers

Proficient in computer operation and Microsoft applications

Project Management skills desirable

CRM software experience advantageous (Microsoft Dynamics)
