Our Client
Our client is an Australian national company in the who is driving growth across Australia. They have an exciting opportunity for someone to join their Sydney Branch, someone with excellent welding knowledge.
The Role
In their quest for growth, we are now recruiting for a focused and driven Business Development Manager / Account Manager..
Reporting directly to the State Sales Manager you will be a targeted on growing sales for your territory. Sales experience in welding / welding gases / welding gas product is highly advantageous. This is a new role and therefore you will establish your own territory from zero. Initially, this is a 100% business development role, however as you establish your clientele, the role will eventually lead to a 50/50 Business Development Manager / Account Manager role. You are in control of how quickly this happens.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Cold calling potential new clients
- Build a lead pipeline through industry networking
- Negotiation & closing of new supply contracts for major/minor clients
- Meet new business KPI's and targets
Business Development Manger / Account Manager Skills & Experience
To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated ability building of new business and pipelines
- Demonstrated experience of negotiation and deal wins
- Excellent communication skills
- Qualified Boilermaker/Welder is a definite advantage
- Work well within a team
