Our goal has always been to lead the market in our industry by continuous innovation and exceeding expectations. As such, we require a Business Development Manager to continue to help us build and grow our client base!
The key focus areas of this role include:
- Growing our client base in the construction & mining industry.
- Establishing client needs, quoting and ultimately winning their business!
- Look to expand our distribution networks by identifying the right businesses to stock our products!
- Working with our team to ensure clients’ needs are met.
- Being a team member, which means supporting all other areas of our business when needed!
Now, don't be afraid of the tasks. We don't actually need someone who has done it all before. We need someone with the hunger, motivation and attitude who is willing to learn and throw themselves in! (With our support, training and mentoring of course!)
What you will need to be is:
- A great communicator – This role is all about relationships and relationship building. People like doing business with people they like!
- A sponge – hungry to learn a new industry with lots of potential. Pick the brains of your colleagues and figure out a way to do it even better!
- A team player - we know everyone asks for this, but we mean it. You need to work well with others and pitch in when required.
- A pro-active self-starter – you’ll need to be organised and have the ability to prioritise work effectively. You will be working with a great team but also in charge of your day.
