VDM Metals Australia Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of VDM Metals GmbH, Germany and has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. Principal activities are the importation, warehousing, processing and sale of high performance special alloy metal products.
The company has an opening for an experienced Internal Sales person to join the Australian subsidiary of a World Class International Manufacturer of high performance metallic materials.
Successful applicant will be / will have:
- Punctual
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good organisational and administrative skills
- High standards, accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Able to work unsupervised and in a team environment
- Be able to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Drivers Licence - with good driving record
- Flexibility to work within set hours
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Receive inbound customer sales enquiries and provide quotations, product / service information, support and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries
- Promote the features and benefits of the company's products / services
- Process sales orders and arrange the dispatch and administration of products / services sold
- Receive, manage or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of the company's products / services
- Maintain sales statistics and records of sales performance
- Provide administrative support for the production of RFIs, RFQs and other sales related documents
- Identify sales leads and communicate them to external sales staff
- Maintain client databases
