The Role
Reporting to the Group Category Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Provide insights to the Category Managers through analysis of competitive pricing, products that are below gross profit expectation and customers influences
- Created Key Performance Indicator Dashboard
- Monitor pricing levels & profitability within categories and highlight areas of opportunity
- Create various Product Performance Reports and make relevant analytical call-outs on all metrics
- Ad-hoc reports and presentation preparation as assigned by the Group Category Manager
About You
You are a self-motivated individual who is passionate about number analysis. With a minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience in product analysis or a similar role, you enjoy a team based environment and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Flexibility to adapt to an evolving environment and willingness to learn are also key requirements.
To be considered for the role, you must display the following competencies:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role as a category analyst or coordinator
- Advanced Excel knowledge including Pivot, Lookups, Formulas & Analytics tools
- Exceptional Numerical and Analytical Skills
- Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen and strategic foresights
- High attention to detail
- Ability to build productive relationships with external and internal customers
- Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle competing demands
