About the Company
Our client, a national Engineering / Building Services (HVAC, Fire, Electrical, Building Automation) company have identified the need for a dedicated senior Business Development resource to effectively manage continued company growth in WA
 
About The Role
An autonomous WA based position reporting into the Director of Operations and Sales and Company Directors (all based in NSW). Would suit an experienced Sales/BDM professional with a relevant trade background or strong technical understanding of HVAC with a real hunger to succeed. A very competitive salary and incentives package is available for the successful candidate.
 
Your Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting potential new customers
• Build, maintain and manage a strong pipeline of potential opportunities
• Continue to develop your wider network and leverage off to create new business opportunities
• New business presentations and conversion into customers
• Plan your approach / pitch; develop proposals that satisfy and exceed customer expectations and address concerns and objections
• Effectively manage any objections through strong communication and work through differences to reach successful outcomes
• Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics

 
Skills & Experience

• 10+ years sales / business development experience within Industrial / HVAC / Building services environments and demonstrated success within
• High level communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills
• Strong (and demonstrable) industry related network
• A real passion and hunger for sales and business development and the capability and focus to work effectively in what will be a very autonomous role
• High level of ambition, determination and resilience
• Engineering or Trade background (building construction, mechanical, electrical, refrigeration etc). Technical minded.
