About the role
Ovvio Organics is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate full time Account Manager strong in business development & sales to help grow the wholesale tea business.
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Analyse existing/potential customer needs.
- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
- Product training with new and existing customers as required.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Track sales and provide status reports to the Operations Manager.
- Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Keep abreast of best practices in market and communicate trends back to the business.
- Sales administration and customer support: inputting orders, setting up customer accounts, liaising with the warehouse to ensure orders are dispatched and received correctly and on time and ensure payments are received promptly.
- Participation and management of special projects as required.
- Attend weekly warehouse and monthly team meetings.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Passion for organic and natural products and a passion for tea.
- Excellent knowledge of Unleashed, Shopify, Xero & Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, written, verbal, phone communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills to ensure effective account management.
- An ability to multitask and independently manage a busy role with constantly competing priorities.
- An ability to work collaboratively with the extended team including marketing, manufacturing and distribution.
