Our client is the premiere and most experienced bearings, seals, power transmission product distributor in Australia. With branches across Australia, it has built an industrial sales/distribution aftermarket business and also supplies the OEM and mining sectors. This is an extremely exciting phase for this organisation as they are currently evidencing significant growth.

Covering a territory that includes Melbourne's western suburbs, in this challenging, dynamic and fast paced role you will be responsible for managing an existing profitable and vibrant client base that includes the Mining, Industrial, Food and Beverage industries, whilst identifying and developing new business opportunities.

So that you yourself are able to make the transition smoothly, you will possess the following key attributes:

• A demonstrated industrial/mechanical sales history
• An appreciation or basic understanding Bearings, Seals, Power Transmission, Chains, sprockets and other industrial products
• Confidence with talking to engineers/consultants and the ability to interpret technical drawings and calculations
• Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills
• Be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile
• A willingness and desire to continue learning.
