About the role

In support of our overall business growth plan, we are excited to add a new member to our Business Development Team in Australia. In this role, you will be the face of our company and responsible for identifying, developing, securing and account managing new business. You will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders and will have an ability to influence outcomes to favour all parties.

Based in our Moonee ponds office, and reporting to our Director of Sales, this role will provide you with the variety that ensures your long-term interest and personal development.

You will be involved in cross selling and up-selling our suite of services, therefore the ideal candidate will have; a strong knowledge and background in Professional Training Sales and/or a Learning and Development sales background with a clear understanding and commitment to the principles of professional learning.

Skills and experience

Working as part of the Business Development Team your responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in planning and implementing digital marketing strategy, aligned with the company sales strategy.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong content strategy capability.
  • Ability to consult and interact effectively with all levels of the organisation and develop strong business partnerships internally.
  • Proven ability to deliver financial uplift using customer centred digital marketing disciplines and deliver cost savings through optimization.
  • Strong experience in leveraging the Online platforms for optimisation of customer journey across the value chain and boosting sales would be highly valued.
  • Utilising your strong networking skills, independently recognising new business opportunities
  • Generating and contributing to sales outcomes
  • Writing proposals, providing clients with options to engage our services through listening to their needs and selling our solutions.
  • Attending client meetings, taking initial briefs from clients and communicating the client needs to our Training Manager.
  • Meeting assigned sales, administrative, reporting and growth targets and KPI's.
